Manufacturing: the creation or production of something.
It's all about manufacturing

Maximising your Assets”

The pressures in manufacturing are numerous, with the drive for efficiency and productivity often being relentless. With a diminishing appetite for major capital investment, many factory managers are now aiming to get more out of their existing assets and equipment. This can be achieved through a proactive approach to diagnosis and maintenance of major assets.

By working closely with clients, we help them to get the best return from their fixed assets, including processing plant, heat treatment equipment, storage tanks, pressurised vessels, pipelines, pumps, rotating equipment, boilers, bunding and other key infrastructure.

This is achieved through a combination of understanding failures, monitoring condition of assets, inspection and identifying and managing the level of risk associated with the current condition.

Minimising your Risk”

Once the condition of critical assets is known, then we can assist clients with proactive and preventative maintenance and monitoring, through a systematic process of inspecting, testing, repairing and making recommendations on replacement (in terms of design and timing). Our unique expertise in the fields of inspection, materials and mechanical engineering enables our clients to understand the condition of their plant and equipment at any moment in time, and manage the identified risks accordingly.

Our aim through this approach is to put clients in control of their plant and assets – if you share this goal, then call us now for an initial consultation.

Most of our manufacturing experience (outside the core process industries) has been in the food, drink and pharmaceutical sectors, where the use of heating, cooling, high temperatures, and range of materials pumped through systems (from product to cleaning chemicals – including acids, alkalis and others) is utilised without associated condition monitoring of the assets involved.

  1. Pharmaceutical – where changing demands on plant and equipment can lead to structural and performance issues.

  2. Food and Drink manufacture – in environments that are subjected to high or low temperatures, and exposed to a range of products, the assets can be suffering unseen fatigue.
